Education
I have a BA in English Lit from Westminster College, a private liberal arts school in Salt Lake City. While in college I took several classes for creative writing and environmental lit. I am confident that my experiences will be helpful for those students in need of help with their english/lit classes.
Experience
I also have my TESL certification with 12 hours of practical teaching experience. While getting ESL certified, I was responsible for my own classroom of between 5-10 students ranging in ages. I feel most challenged and helpful when working with ESL adults. I want to be a tutor because I find it exciting to see the progress that students make as a result of the added practice and attention.
